Michael Andres is a storyteller, strategist, and nonprofit leader who serves as Director of Development for Oklahoma Data Exchange. He believes data can change lives as much as it can policy and works to build the partnerships and investment needed to make ODX’s mission possible.

For nearly two decades, Michael has shaped communications and fundraising strategies for organizations serving communities across Oklahoma and around the world. His experience ranges from designing donor campaigns and multi-year strategic plans to supervising large multidisciplinary teams and coordinating medical, educational, and relief projects in Haiti, Tanzania, and the Middle East. No matter the setting, his work centers on connection: aligning mission, message, and the people who make impact possible.

Michael holds a B.A. in International Studies from Texas A&M University and completed graduate studies in Strategic Communication & Digital Strategy at the University of Oklahoma. Originally from the Texas Hill Country, he now lives in Edmond with his family.
