Director of Operations

Shelley Branum has been working and volunteering for nonprofit organizations in Oklahoma since 2007. She also brings 13 years of experience as a business owner to her role as Director of Operations.

Her nonprofit work began with the Arts Council of Oklahoma City, where she was the assistant to both the Development and Finance directors. This position sparked her joy for nonprofit work and allowed her to discover her passion for providing foundational and structural support to causes that benefit communities in Oklahoma. Since then, she has worked and volunteered for more than 50 nonprofit organizations in Oklahoma.

In 2012, Shelley embarked on her entrepreneurial journey and began a business providing support services for small business owners and nonprofits nationwide. Her work focused primarily on bookkeeping and accounting support, but also included marketing, operations, leadership, and diversity, equity, and inclusion services.

During this time she fell in love with compassionate leadership and became a champion for people-first management and operations.

Shelley moved to Oklahoma just before her fifth birthday and claims no other place as home. She is deeply devoted to the state that raised her, working to improve the lives of Oklahomans and create better opportunities for future generations.
